Pour the pirate sherry, braid the raven hair, polish up the handle of the big brass door, and join Feinstein’s/54 Below for a fresh, fun celebration of Gilbert and Sullivan’s most beloved operettas! These lovingly loopy renditions have delighted audiences across the US with their joyfully irreverent arrangements of tunes from HMS Pinafore, The Mikado, and The Pirates of Penzance. Now these folk-infused orchestrations make their long-anticipated arrival in New York with a boisterous evening peppered with pirates, ukuleles, pooh-bahs, guitars, sea captains, banjos, lads, lasses, mandolins and modern major generals. 
The actor-musicians performing in GILBERT AND SULLIVAN UNPLUGGED have performed the operettas of W. S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan at American Repertory Theatre, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Olney Theatre Center, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, and The Den Theatre in Chicago.
